Light and deep space

I explore the abstract and representational visual relationship of the micro / macro universe. My inspiration has included lichens, photographs of the earth taken from space and subatomic particle theory.  I combine the recognizable with the unknown or imaginative.

 An  Iris may be  juxtaposed with outer space. The micro  energy of a brushstroke  is set in the macro of its visual field.  Passages of light and color fields are multilayered in space.
